How to reach success

Forget anything about "Easy Tips!" "Things THEY don't want you to know"

It's not easy, it never will be and the hunt always goes on. Success isn't something that once you get it the credits roll and it's flossing for the rest of your life. Applying motivation is a muscle you need to flex everyday.

If you want it bad enough you will want to be the best you possible. Don't look to others as a template for how you should react and become. Be original and work at your flaws and strengths daily. If you're not getting physically and mentally stronger each day then you're slipping. If I placed you in a competition and you lost to the you of last year then you've got work to do.

In order to achieve your ambition you've got to practice your craft every day.

1. Network- Find people in your field and learn from them. People who are accomplishing their goals love to be with others who they can relate to. So ask around, check web forums, research and contact those who you admire. You have to take chances here but don't be needy. You want to find confident people who know what they're talking about. So if you've got people in your life who don't have anything going for them and their plans are on repeat, you need to find people who want more out of life. Surround yourself with ambitions people

2. Humble yourself- You can learn from anybody, we all have something to share. Even if that something is what NOT to do. Don't think you know everything because if you do you're going to shut yourself off from the creative process. This process requires you collaborate and being willing to take constructive criticism. Don't get this humility wrong though, it does not mean you should lack confidence. Instead realize it takes confidence to feel comfortable in knowing you can reach success, but that even experts have to update every day.

3. Dedicate- Work on it daily. This should be the fun part though, once you set a schedule you should be happy in acting like student, having to learn each day. Do not let it slip from you, it's ok to party but only after you finish your repetitions. Don't celebrate and pop bottles if you don't have a reason to. This means that you set aside time and sacrifice. Look at your life as a gigantic journey, where's your long term happiness going to come from? How are you going to support yourself? Keep tabs on what you've done because that daily dedication is going to make you tremendously better than the you of yesterday.

Ambition, Success and Fear

I've faced a tremendous fear, but I learned how to conquer it. It was hard at first, because many good reasons came up as to why I shouldn't.

The stakes were high because what was at stake was precious time. Right now in my 20's it's the ripe opportunity to be at my best, physically, mentally and I'm able to make as many mistakes as I can without facing serious repercussions.

Yet somehow I still managed to make excuses. "What's the point? It's too hard. I'm not good enough. I'll get it done tomorrow." All excuses and reasons as to why I can't.

But why even focus on that bullshit, instead of looking at challenges as something that's too great, why not pay attention to the why not? Who says I can't? Are those successful people I see on screen better than me? Not necessarily, they worked at it. All the skill I see is potential and hard work coming together. They're not better, they're just busier.

It's going to sound corny but I believe people can do anything they set their mind to. With enough effort I know I can. It's just about looking at it as a challenge. I'll fail often, but that's ok. Because I just created another angle. I won't be going back that route and I'll learn from my mistakes. One option down means one step closer to finding the right move.

So I look at the fear and all the reasons why not and say "If I want it bad enough, I can sacrifice my time in exchange to get closer to my passion" Because I am worth it, because it's the only thing that I'm willing to fight for and set time aside for. The better the challenge the more skill I gain. It's only going to make me stronger and I refuse to let anything get in my way to achieve this.

If I want it bad enough I'll find a way, all this opportunity to make it is the reason why the negative thoughts are just that, thoughts. Just like a good idea that doesn't get applied, all it becomes is loose information. It doesn't take me anywhere, what does is applying the skill.

Yes I'm going to lose and have to learn all the basics, but that's all good because at least I took the chance. No one wants to be the guy that uses words like "should have, wished I did, I could of done it" Yeah well why didn't you? There's no better reason for finding success than to be successful.

All we have is space and opportunity, I'm willing to set it all down and get shit done.

Living poor isn't so bad

I haven't worked freelance PA gigs in over 4 weeks, and even though it's getting down to the point of concern for my financial well being, it's all good.

A few concerned people like my ex have poked their heads and asked "what up?"

It's been real creative, got the CA drought documentary in post production, I might become a contributing writer for 3 websites, and at the very least I get to have fun doing the things that make me happy.

There's a tremendous fear that circles itself around in the life of a freelancer. Particularly a freelance writer. It's good though, it makes one feel in tune to how fleeting success is. You may find a nest egg that feeds you for a while, then all of a sudden it vanishes.

I'm not sure if it even matters in the long term, I remember the homeboy Alan Watts talked about enjoying the journey, savoring the path. It truly makes sense, the long term goal may transform into something entirely different, what's the point of feeling like garbage for a few extra bucks?

I mean I totally get it, you've got to make a living and act adult. You can't expect to live off handouts and to barely scrape by. But honestly, why does it feel much better than when I had a ton of disposable income. Even though I'm wary to purchase things it does feel great to know I can still enjoy myself with the essentials.

Uncertain but who cares

I just read some old drafts of essays I was inspired to write for you. It's actually very sincere and open but I believe at this stage it's misguided.

I wanted honesty so we could be secure in knowing who were dealing with. I don't want to love the facade. It's occured to me I invested too much in this relationship and only now that I don't want to be around you do you see it. There's a lot of "I" in this, because I forgot the fact that in the end that's all we have, is our own selves. I hope to love freely but also never to fully give someone the attention if they don't deserve it.

I created ideas around your image, cooked your foods, made sure it was wholesome and clean. You ate the plate and disregarded the work. The amount of effort I gladly gave without asking for things in return. I made sure you were comfortable and was open to all your ideas, catered my self around you. I hope you live a successful life pretending to be someone else

ANOS

on a long route it wont last
all the bullshit in our past
bitter halves tearing at the seams
taking all the time to realize

constantly trying to avoid the unescapable

ive found a reason to be happy
no longer avoiding the reasons
giving into temptations
ones that i cannot escape
intoxicated by the emotions
controlling the unmistakable
The specialization of skill within our communities. The dependence upon each other for survival has increased in exchange but decreased in interpersonal contact so that we require more from each other with less understanding. Our food is raised and harvested by those who practice the ancient art of farming, the lessons are passed down through the cult and none us city folk outsiders can read the Braille. We are the trackhome bumpkins. Industrialized and capable of fashioning elaborate textiles and all matter of peacocketry we are all feather and no wing. Could you successfully raise your own foods, or would you too turn fanged and hungerpained to the magicfoodmen holders of the most necessary knowledge and skill. We are like the nieve and foolish pilgrims, sure they coulda eaten their bibles and you might be able to digest your laptop but (brian fill in ) but what else can we do, and why is no one asking these questions more loudly?

Don't be a puss

Maybe I'm unique in this regard, not unique in the sense of better or special, but as an anomoly to the inherent drive. Knowing that during our breakup within a week she sought sex from someone she claims to not have liked either physicaly or emotionally is odd to digest. I understand the desire to be validated and the low self esteem but is this the solution? The first time she was too drunk to remember what happened, she asked via facebook if they had used a condom. Delivering an odd poem that created no response from her acquisition. I'm sure neither of them thought it would go beyond the hollow physical demands.

It's been three days since I found out and I feel at odds. I wonder why, is there something I didn't provide?(My ego speaks) Is she looking for wild flings(She says it was the only time) I had also asked since we got back to dating if she had been with someone else. She repeatedly stated of course not, and during our relationship she actually said without a prompt that she could never be with another man after me that she did not care for.

The first 3 days were hell, I fell into a manic depression. Feelings of paralyzation, apathy, rage, sadness and finally lashing out. A broken chair here, peering into his open facebook account searching for any clues. But to what? In the infinite scope of this life why should one realization stunt growth in other areas? It's immature to let one hurdle determine the realities of the day. I still am young, and If I were to lose this person then I'll be better for it. It 's not a trait I can accept and better to learn it know then after her bearing kids and being permanently attached.

I'm not sure what I want from us. I do know however that there are other more important things to focus on. Love is a dangerous substance, it can create sensations of bliss and moments of defeat. But if it doesn't work out then back to the square one, focusing on ones own skill set and branching out.

Martial arts as an approach to life and badassedry

"The desire to know is natural to good men" - Leonardo Da Vinci

I'm drenched in sweat circling around the ring. I think it's been 3 rounds but It's hard to keep track. I'm desperately trying to not look tired but my heavy breathing and lowered defenses show otherwise. I thought the adrenaline would block out the pain but my left foot feels swollen and restrained.Boom. I get hit with a leg kick to my thigh. My knee buckles for a quick second,  I bob my head back and forth to confuse my opponent. I keep throwing punches but they only hit air as I smile at my lack of range. I land a body shot as my opponent returns with another kick.

The bell rings and I hold on to the ropes to alleviate the stress on my legs. Every little bit helps.

It seems like a brute sport, what kind of testosterone filled idiot would engage in receiving and causing damage? It doesn't have to do with proving anything to anyone but yourself. Muscle memory, discipline, and a chess like brain to dominate ones own instincts. The first instinct when you train is to cower away, cover your face and turn your back. That's the worst possible approach, our instincts fail. Were not a moving target, were a wide open target with no sense of direction.

To those that have never done striking, engaged in grappling or other combat sport you've never faced the impact and maturity of martial arts. It isn't a sport for brutes or those lacking confidence, instead it's an embrace of ones sorroundings and their opponents technique.A street fighter very often gasses themselves out with their posturing and rush of adrenaline instead of relying on technique instead of emotion.

Martial arts comes from the latin meaning art of war. There is a mind state inherent.

A breaking point emerges in any and all fighter, beggining with the novice being overwhelmed by proper technique, falling under the stress of being attacked and cowering away from punches, giving up during submissions. Convincing oneself that they should quit or experience pain and loss.

An street fighter will be overwhelmed by anxiety and adrenaline that by the time they commit to the fight they will exaust themselves and instead of being in the moment they will become one dimensional and only attack from one angle. Their technique causes their defenses to be weak and easily countered, and their offence lacking strength or finess.

An experienced fighter will ideally be cautious and perhaps scared, but ultimately muscle memory will kick in and they will flow combinations and techniques to counter and push their tempo. I don't know if one can fight without fear, but the idea of being confident in ones own abilities causes the brain to become more focused.

When I started striking my instinct would be to circle around away from the punches, after throwing the same basic combos I would be countered and stifled. At certain points after being struck I felt an urge to stop. The reptilian brain would kick in after much practice and I would set up combinations with proper footwork, head movement, precision and then finally committing to well timed combinations and set ups. I would feel secure that I could defend myself and face adversity with a steady hand instead of squirming out of movements.

Technique is the number one tool, speed, strength and elusiveness come second always. If you get stuck in a bad position no amount of energy will negate that. Leverage and position rival all. A mental acuity of being able to maneuver around your opponent kicks in. Even if one is struck you gather your self and see that you can challenge your opponent. The lucky punch is very rare.

Being comfortable in ones own skin was a great offshoot of my training. I didn't ever have to prove to people I was tough because all my aggression had an outlet. I knew I've faced adversity and my mind was prepared for any task that was in front of me.

My self esteem sky rocketed because I felt reassured that I could conquer life it with a proud sense of direction. After every training session I would feel happy to know I made myself better and more capable.

You learn to respect others for their capabilities and potential.Facing life and death because the body knows no different when you're being attacked.

Every human being should know how to defend themselves as well as know what being dominated and close to death feel like. Unless you're training partners are completely savages they're never going to submit you to unconsciousness or break a body part. But to have to forcefully say you give up due to a bad position humbles you. It makes you understand that you have room for improvement but also that another human could to that do you makes you respect people's capabilities.

I recommend  Jujitsu as a first time sport. There's no striking as it is a submission based martial art. You tap out when you get in a bad position and there's very little risk of injury. It gives you the thrill of the hunt without the brain damage essentially. Everyone is different though, my girlfriend would rather watch netflicks instead of trying to tap out sweaty people. But I hope you at least see it as a character builder and a humbling activity instead of a aggro douchy sport.

Abuse Of Power: Hot Buns Edition

Online criticisms have to be the lowest common denominator in writing. Not only are you shielded anonymously without any needed review, but a scathing review can be easily administered instantaneously in the heat of a moment.

What I've witnessed can only be seen as my perspective with this seemingly abusive person, whether or not they just had a bad day or whatever is of little consequence.

This Director of commercials is famous for reinventing the way fast food is presented at the end of  commercials. You know, the camera pan that ever so seductively lures you into neon cheese filled food stuff. It's basically the well manicured food that one could imagine Gandhi salivating over after a fast. Typically, the minimum waged payed teenager who cooks this gives zero recognition to the fact that he somehow presented a burger in the form of mashed potatoes.

Either way, this isn't a scathing criticism of  fast food. I mean, the fact that this Director can make this soylent green food appetizing speaks volumes to the mans image. What this actually means to show is the lack of self control one has when no one has the nerve to criticize you for being abrasive(aka cunty) towards everyone.

It was a one day preparation to have one burger in the establishing shot. It was essentially a burger bun holocaust. We had over 500 buns discarded due to the fact that they had blemishes. Strike number 1: Our director criticized the person who scoured Los Angeles for buns on the basis that he had brought mediocre bread. It's understandable that a perfectionist would only want the best enriched bleached flour pattys, but the production assistant didn't bring mushy, bloated, or torn buns. I'm sure they had a redeeming personality to go along with their inherent physical weakness at least.

Strike Number 2: Making the head food stylist cry due to her inability to produce a beautifully toasted bun. With his constant unnecessary criticisms to the stylists abilities and scolding her in public making her feel inept. This lady looked like one of the "Golden Girls", not a pinata full of gold you had to jab.

I won't consider this a big deal but my direct interaction with the man showed his complete lack of respect. After communicating with another production assistant as to our next move  he barked, "Hey, you need to stop yelling, this isn't the club ok man" Not much harm in the statement, but it speaks volumes about a mans form of resolve for having to bring a person down in an nonconstructive and blatantly backwards approach. I was not yelling nor was I boisterous or speaking more than was necessary. You seem like the type that would find ballet too aggressive.

I've heard unverified stories of people withdrawing from their positions after a few days of working with this man. People in high paying and short lived shoots such as the time span of 3 weeks or less, withdrawing less than halfway through.

This man funds his own multi million commercials and pays out of pocket for the expenses. For all the money he makes and the wealth he acquired he sure seems to have such a weak character. This fact itself shows the hollow victory he must feel every day, to be able to make those around him feel inadequate not because of his overwhelming talent, but for his unrelenting abrasive personality. It would be fitting to call this man an asshole and be done with it. Truthfully, I just feel bad for the guy.

Being gay is a-ok

It's been proven that homosexuality is a completely natural form of existence. For example, animals have been shown to do homosexual acts for several reasons such as group cohesion, making sure the species survives, and also just cause it feels good.

I believe that the confusion lies in what some would consider common sense. The question begs to be answered, "How would the human race survive if homosexuality was natural?"

The answer is easy to figure out. We are all unique, offering a multitude of varying genetic codes with different immune systems, psychological adaptations, dietary needs, ect. Why should sexuality be any different?

You may have a small family that instead of having relations with one another there are roles set aside. In tight knit communities it would be advantageous to be gay instead of committing to incest, you have a caretaker in the group who is willing to play babysitter instead of longing to mate with the opposite sex who would be your family.

Also it has been proven that families containing homosexual men and heterosexual women makes it so that the women have a hyper amplified desire to have kids. It's almost like they rob the testosterone of men to want more children.

The biggest reason why you haven't heard this is because bigots have had the biggest say into whats right and wrong. For those in the religious circles and those wannabe alpha males(which I will write about in another blog) believe that a "real man" and "real women" should fit into their respective roles. It really isn't about what makes sense, its more about having people fit into your illusion as to what a gender role looks like.

The most unintentionally gay argument I have ever heard is when people say being gay isn't natural. As if all these gay people are forcing themselves to have sex. For whatever reason this group even though is widely unaccepted decides that "yeah, I feel like getting my ass kicked for the rest of my life". There's such thing as being an outcast and wanting to feel different and then there's nature. Certain people are gay and love musicals but they shouldn't be hated for wearing sequins.

The intahwebz

We truly live in fascinating times. With the creation of the internet we all have 24 hour access to a user generated encyclopedia. As well as a area to share information wirelessly to be viewed at your leisure.

Never in the history of the world have we had a tool this unique and all emcopassing. To be able to go anywhere and have acccess to a tool that allows us to seek information. If it wasn't so common to us we would see it as magic. At a moments notice we can view what local areas are good on yelp, reading about tidbits to see if parking is bad, what item is best to try. We can create plans, share our thoughts and talk to strangers all over the globe. Even revolutions like the one in Syria were fed contributions by organizing rallies on twitter.

We do become over saturated with useless information and  time wasting things but the internet is an extension of our reality. We have those that contribute and those that try to take away.

No longer are we limited by word of mouth or random selection, we can research and share our our data on the web.

Elixer

Obtaining a intimate relationship means that one involves themselves fully to a relationship, assuming monogamy. If one were to keep this ideal intact in a business situation then it would be like a inebriated(read: wasted) 21 year old betting it all on lucky 7. You can achieve great success when it goes well, but when the structure fails you feel it so much worse than if one were to branch out and search other endeavors.

I believe one mate is sufficient, although some may find success by spreading their seed like monsanto, for me at least: one person can provide satisfactory(referring to a mate as satisfactory is remarkably unsexy) joy.

The melancholy sensations in uncertainty requires a pensive mind to seek an answer to the plaguing question. What improvements must I make? Was I wrong and should I change who I am? Or is this something that defines me and perhaps my mate must then decide whether they shall embrace or discard me.

There's a lot of unaswered questions is relationships, ultimately it is a work in progress. The dynamics are like any other interaction, and they can provide for meaningful encounters, rich in depth. But when it falters and progress halts, it can be a lingering sensation of inadequacy, uncertainty, and hopelessness.

The ultimate question beckons, is it worth it?

Pressure points

The mounted weight has the capability to lure one into a false sense of security. While engaged it expresses itself as a rewarding joy, but with the same calming hand it's flung its wrath with a careless grip. Looking sorely to bridge the gap within selfishness and self destruction.A primitive form of self preservation, it becomes a beast trapped in the corner.

It has the correct gestures and form but it dances off rhythm. Sheltered within what it expresses to others as only a way of exposing sensations. It's pierced a void within what it claims to protect and love. A battered betrayed shield that meant well but was too close to the treasure. As soon as the mind awakens it shows the important truth, senses flushed it tries to tear away at its eyes but sensibilities expose all. Trust that is lost should never be retrieved, a careless action propels one into harms way.

Wolves In The Throne(part deux)

A very important trait to never conceal within yourself is reserved humility. Be aware that you could be potentially wrong, your tastes and attitudes change and life is not catered to your whim. Don't submit to a feeling of helplessness, just understand that with perspective comes a proper understanding of where you are in life.

Another important fact to recall is that we will commonly neglect perfectly solid advice that we would (say we could) adhere to if we had time to rationalize.

It's difficult to rationalize when you have starved wolves in your presence. Muddling mating instincts with alcohol,80's music, and a streak of seeing other people deceit their love interests is a hard battle to feel secure in. It's a unfair war, this is Bruce Lee in his prime fighting a blindfolded anorexic with cerebral palsy as they struggle to find their shutterbug cellphone within the confines of a kit-kat bar laden fanny pack.In a room full of testosterone, men will adhere to no standard of gentlemen like tactics. I've witnessed them fight for scraps, unwilling to concern themselves with the fact that even if you can steal the girl there's a reason she's magnetized by your hairy stomach and dreadlocks. If she's the prize acquisition willing to leave her mate by your posturing up and vain comments on how "they look so fine"and have "an original style" while you salivate then there's a chance that yes, congratulations, she has a cabinet dedicated to herpes medication.

The need to procreate is so strong that people will openly set aside any inhibitions in order for even a glimpse of some thigh. It's such a strong sensation that once we have settled on monogamy with a mate you guard that position with an urgency where hostility is eminent to any perceived threat. People would rather disregard any notion of sensibility in order to keep a thriving pulse in the relationship. I don't believe having a good friend of the opposite sex that you meet up with individually is possible without a convincing desire to also mate with them.To be willing to talk to someone in a setting where the alcohol isn't the only fluid causing stimulation is an open invitation to be treated in that regard. You become an animal in heat openly taking in requests to anyone who keeps a business card to display their spastic 3rd grader fingerpainting art.

Feeling secure in a relationship where you feel the other person wouldn't cheat isn't enough to disregard the fact that all humans can falter. Devotion is the ultimate goal but there are multiple factors that hinder that progression.Never forget that no human is immune to turning on their integrity. Suffering and helplessness will occur in a relationship, but it can breed growth and redevelopment. If it's as good as you say it is, you will never be numb to the pain. It will always be a potential sensation. It becomes foolish and greedy to only expect bliss and rainbow sunshine kisses. If the pain comes from a lack of understanding and not as fuel for petty revenge than it should be used as a force to teach and ask questions about. The wolves will always circle around, but as long as the relationship is healthy and based off love and understanding they will always remain at bay. They aren't a threat if what is retained is the initial motivations that we possess.

There's a lot of learning to be gained from the spawn of helplessness and sorrow, it provides nourishment for the positivity because these components are all one. If we are correcting our structure we become able to use it to better ourselves.

Wolves In The Throne

There are very few emotions that exist that cause one to immediately seek a moment of safety. Insecurity has the capability to cause even the most lax of us to look for shelter in getting back at someone. The end result being that no one is satisfied because the original problem remains. The moment one begins to express themselves in a way that is a mock version of self destruction is when you put yourself in a vindictive cycle of low standards and regret. In simple terms, you can't expect victory if you punch yourself in the dick. To pursue an attitude of disregarding ones own integrity is to automatically assume subordination. As soon as my integrity gets washed in with hurt pride I can never retain my original essence.

A simple few seconds can change the tempo of an otherwise normal experience. When things are well we never take a moment to appreciate the experience. However as soon as things change we become prone to look for the root cause. It's important to find the root cause but never in the expense of trying to hurt another person while retaining the original problem. We hurt the individual and contribute to suffering.

It becomes important to look at the end result. Is a problem really worth the nagging negativity? If I hurt you in the process is it really worth it? Do the ends justify the means? And just as important is the valuable lost reputation, not in the eyes of others but within yourself. Would you appreciate being treated the way you have decided to act? Conditioning yourself to this habit is what fuels a weak will.If all I expect is to create separation and hurt feelings than it becomes vital to ones one emotional health to evaluate if it is a healthy relationship, or perhaps it isn't worth the effort. Severing ties is difficult in the present, but the future will spur a more vibrant mentality.

And so it can shift

I could have sworn this wouldn't be any good, to let myself feel is to be exposed to the elements. Extreme joy teeters next to sorrow.Indifference is my shield, apathy my sword. Unfortunately it is not a tangible battle, no amount of force or energy will help solve this. Letting go requires removing the mask, comfort comes from the mask and it will hurt to let it dissolve. I can always get my way by being a chameleon, a merchant for your needs while subtracting any possible bond. Intentions are concealed while I lure them into a false sense of security. An emotional con man always looking for the greatest return while sacrificing a future of friendship. A Major contradiction beckons of remaining separated yet looking for a mutual mind to share life with. A decent partner will never be found if one shape shifts from person to person. Reserved and shy, witty and boisterous, cunning and intelligent, all these traits encompass the morphing of my personality. Blank canvass shifting into different perspectives that satisfy the viewer. Barriers block out both tyrants and saints. My only defense is to block both out. This weak defense removes the joy of life, a truly strong defense will accommodate each situation accordingly. No defense is required at times, a major step towards letting go of past reservations.

I never required a shoulder to cry on just sympathy. To have a mutual empathy is an ultimate goal, but this goal should require no effort. It either exists or it doesn't.

Words do not do it justice.

A good substitute does not exist.

Maybe just "it's ahsum"

Disillusionment would be impossible because a missing part was filled. The void is hard to describe because we all long for it to be filled in different ways. One can push towards their greatest ambitions and still feel as if there is something lacking. It just feels right.Confident but not cocky. Assured but not delusional. Together but not clingy. Pure positivity without forcing anything.

All these aforementioned statements outline the building blocks of a healthy relationship. Hardships are not deterrents but actually hurdles that once accomplished will reveal the true strength of the core.

You can't expect someone to change or supplement you into a better person without first truthfully analyzing your own life. Are you accomplishing what you would like? Are your goals outlined? Do you spread positivity selflessly without expecting rewards? Do you love yourself enough to be able to enjoy life? True happiness must come from within, no one is going to save you.One will attract individuals with similar thoughts, to be honest with one self will reveal certain experiences. We are so influenced by others being fully immersed so much that we forget how ingrained we are. It becomes automatic. Surround yourself with positivity and you too will reflect those qualities.

Emotions are a fickle thing, often criticized for being logic's retarded twice removed cousin, it is seen as a childish way to observe life. However emotions are impossible to escape and work in harmony with our logic. One isn't better than the other, it's all one working part. Instinct is a manifestation of emotions, we strive towards things and react instantly without much conscious thought. Our surroundings are observed and decisions are made instantly, we will quickly create portraits of people by observing their mannerisms and movements. Whenever we meet people that attract us and their vibrancy sways us. Lovers make contact and realize there are redeeming qualities while becoming curious to understand more. As we get to know each other there is a feeling out process in our interactions. Every actions speaks volumes. Whether they seem indifferent or fully immersed can be seen in even small gestures.

Love is a often discussed concept, often one hears of writers who seem almost blinded by the idea. Whether it be comparing ones companion to roses and pure bliss, or mentioning how one should,"fuck bitches, get money" there is an outlet for this idea. Obviously there is a certain selfless trait we all exhibit that helps in love. We go out of our way to help without expecting a reward. We care for people not because we want anything but because we have a mutual connection. Even if we don't feel like they appreciate us we still strive towards making their lives better. But a healthy relationship garners a mutual understanding where there isn't a need to feel unappreciated. Certainty takes time to build and it does not imply one should feel unshielded to feel it. There is no need for a shield at all, a deep connection only flourishes through acceptance and honesty.

A true friend is someone you can talk to openly without feeling self conscious or negative towards. We enjoy spending time with them and enjoying our interactions. What separates romantic love from friendship however is more than just chocolate, roses, and the occasionally "toot and boot" It is a reverence where we feel there is a bond that is indescribable. There is no fear just a mutual understanding. We can truly be ourselves without censorship. It is the idea that it no longer makes sense being alone in this world. No jealousy, spitefulness, attachment, or need for either party to be anything other than just who they are. A healthy relationship requires honesty and a brutal understanding that although it may not be perfect, it is worth pursuing. It is difficult to pull our barriers away and to express ourselves without reservation. We might feel unsure, insecure, or silly for feeling a certain way. But to trust the individual where we realize they will not judge us is an important facet.

There isn't a need to feel confined in anything, we don't owe each other anything. So much to explore we will never be able to fully enjoy all the possibilities. But to be immersed in the experience and enjoy it to the fullest is something attainable. Our enjoyment is only limited by our imaginations. So let's go out and venture into each others mind, let's enjoy it to the fullest.Adventures await, let's fucking do it.

simple minds try to define by going towards the current
others push and sway away to remain with whats current

were so confined within our minds its so hard to define
so fucking hard until one comes along and sweeps you off your feet
they ignite the spark to guide us through the dark
what can i contribute, a little gesture a smirk
just to prove to you that im not always a jerk
never want to trap you, you are your own
the greatest gift you've given me is a throne to call my own
your presence commands my deepest respect
i may be lay on payments but ill never forget to check
i put your needs ahead of mine, just to define
these words a cheap substitute for what ive always tried to find

you tend to inspire, but never expire, sometimes acquire,a sense of purpose and worth
invested energy is well spent, and im hell bent and pushing forward to progress through this madness
it may lead to occasional sadness, but for the most part its worth it two sides of the coin
cant have one without the other, true emotions may bother
but to keep it real and right, is to truly ignite.
so thank you, i appreciate, i hope we continue and always patiently wait
time is infinite and we have forever

Snap

no winners or losers when it isn't a game

our own judge, jury, and executioner.

no need for escape when it isn't a trap.

searching for guiding lights, where there isn't a grand master

No correct method, no method to the madness

Apply all the knowledge you know
Entangled within all of the experiences.
Become what you most admire, appreciate potential.
There is constant turmoil in losing sight of the goal.
The true meaning of life is to understand the simple yet freeing idea
Cause suffering and you will experience pain
Spread joy and you too will be joyful
Free yourself of selfishness because there is no you.
Abstract ideas at first, they will soon become obvious
Same building blocks, same shared land, same concerns.
Hurt others and you too will be hurt.
To spread love is to accept oneself.

Harmony of logic and Emotions

Our highly developed brains first acquired the use of emotions to guide our lives. Our logical side evolved much later. It's as if now we have windows 98 for our logic while we run Windows 7 on our emotions. Fortunately these two work together, we shouldn't try and suppress the emotional side because it is greatly important and much more efficient.

Take body language and facial recognition for example. We gather instantaneous clues as to another human beings mood. Whether it be sadness, joy, fear, anger, or confusion we understand others true non verbal cues. Cause and effect also works similar in the sense that whenever we experience something our memory banks store it for later usage. Take a friend who is constantly exercising and invites you to go. At the mention of their name you will instantly get in the mindset of doing activities and you will get pumped up. Let's say they start flaking on you and missing preplanned dates. After a while your dopamine receptors that got you pumped up will cease and you will mainly face a sort of disappointment or lack of energy.

These aforementioned facts are deeply ingrained and automatic that they hardly ever steer us in the wrong direction. Sometimes our instincts are the best option and logic can lead us in the wrong direction. This sounds odd to say that logic is sometimes negative, but if we start second guessing all our options our lives would lose enjoyment. Shall I have the pastrami or the turkey, we could spend hours trying to decide the pros and cons of each. A silly example but think of how much energy would be spent if all our seemingly trivial decisions garnered so much time spend weighing out the possibilities.
